REAL Week 474

REAL - Reduce stress Exercise Adequate sleep Lower caloric intake

What Navy SEALs are required to do to make it into BUD/S:
Right up front: Never in a million years could I do what is required. However, I needed to start somewhere. Considering how fit the SEALs are, I figured it was a good place to start. So my SEAL puppy reps (SEALp) consist of girls' pushups, crunches, and flutter kicks, a SEAL training basic. I started with doing one of each.  Since my accident I haven't done these, but I'm working to add them back into my routine. Currently, I can't sit on the floor and hope to get up again, so crunches and flutter kicks are on hold, and my pushups are against the wall.

Using 2-lb weights:
PT ~ Physical therapy
UBP ~ Upper body exercises and pushups

SEALFit shared some good hints I want to learn and remember:

24: PT. UBP. x1. Stretch.

25: 2-mile walk. PT. UBP. x2. Stretch.

26: Rest.

27: 1-mile walk. PT. UBP. x2. Stretch.

TBR

86. What If Your Blessings Come Through Raindrops by Laura Story nonfiction. A remarkable story of learning to seek and trust God.

87. High Stakes by Justine Davis suspense romance. I enjoy her storytelling.

88. Avenging Angel by Justine Davis suspense romance. I guessed the killer from the first, but the other possibilities were convincing. There was also an unexpected twist in the tale. Now, if I can get my heart rate back to normal. :-D

89. Blessing Basket (Holiday, USA series Book 13) by Laurel Hawkes Christian contemporary romance novella. I still enjoy reading it.

90. Hand-Me-Down Princess (The Brides of Belles Montagnes series Book 1) by Carol Moncado contemporary clean Christian romance. There were things I disliked and things I liked. In her effort to be clean, there were holes in the story. It read much like a soap opera, sometimes, which I know many readers enjoy. I don't know if I'll read another story by her or not.

Brain Dump

Rule #1: Stop lying, especially to yourself. Before baby became a word, the term was fetus, in Latin. Fetus = Baby It's a baby.
