Brain Dump

What would Jesus do? According to many Christians, Jesus would wear a mask.

Wait...what?

Remember the lepers? Society shunned the lepers and forced them into isolation and colonies separate from the rest of society. Jesus healed them anyway.

The woman with an issue of blood was required, by law, to remain separate from others. She touched Jesus' robe. Jesus healed her anyway.

Those who committed adultery were stoned to death. Jesus saved the woman caught in adultery anyway and told her to go and sin no more.

The dead were considered unclean. Jesus raised them anyway.

In fact, the only thing Jesus tossed out were demons.

Jesus healed people and brought them back into society. He didn't shun anyone, except demons. He didn't turn anyone away, except demons. He didn't force anyone into isolation; He sent demons into swine. He broke societal rules left and right. He included all those society shunned. He even chose a disciple who was a tax collector. Gasp!

What would Jesus do? Jesus wouldn't wear a mask. Jesus would heal the sick and afflicted.

REAL Week 574

REAL - Reduce stress Exercise Adequate sleep Lower caloric intake

What Navy SEALs are required to do to make it into BUD/S:
Right up front: Never in a million years could I do what is required. However, I needed to start somewhere. Considering how fit the SEALs are, I figured it was a good place to start. My pushups are against the wall.

Using 1, 2, and/or 4-lb weights:
PT ~ Physical therapy
UBP ~ Upper body exercises, pushups, and chair sits against the wall

SEALFit shared some good hints I want to learn and remember:

24: 1/2-mile walk PT UBP 0-lb x3 Stretch

25: 2-mile walk PT UBP 0-lb x3 1-lb x3 Stretch

26: Rest

27: 2-mile walk PT UBP 0-lb x3 1-lb x3 Stretch

28: 2/3 mile walk PT UBP 0-lb

TBR

86. Love Once More (The Abundance series book 4) by Sally Bayless contemporary Christian romance. Another two-for, two romance stories intertwined. Loved it.

87. Hope for Christmas (Hope Ranch series book 1) by Elizabeth Maddrey contemporary Christian romance. I love her flawed Christian characters doing the best they know how, learning and growing in Christ and love.

88. Hope for Tomorrow (Hope Ranch series book 2) by Elizabeth Maddrey contemporary Christian romance. Skye, the heroine, and I have some uncomfortable commonalities. I love Elizabeth Maddrey's characters and storytelling.

89. Hope for Love (Hope Ranch series book 3) by Elizabeth Maddrey contemporary Christian romance. Loved the newest release. Unfortunately, the next book isn't out until May!

90. The Gospel at 30,000 Feet by Dieter F. Uchtdorf. Stories and lessons to guide and inspire followers on the journey Home.

Brain Dump

The purpose of science is to prove the experts wrong.

Sadly, the world has become a place where science is a religion instead of science.

Those who decry the existence of God have simply replaced Him with science, but they replaced perfection with imperfection. They replaced the One who created science with His creation. They praise the clay pot while deriding the potter.

God created science to help us learn about the world He created for us.

Rule #1: Stop lying, especially to yourself. Before baby became a word, the term was fetus, in Latin. Fetus = Baby It's a baby.
