Brain Dump

On social media, a friend posted their support of voter ID. Someone else I know accused them of wanting a National ID chip. Another person responded by listing all the things that require having ID, including being able to drive, open a bank account, cash a check, rent anything, buy various items, etc.

My first thought? We already have National ID; it's called a social security card.

After the past year of mask mandates and outcry for vaccine passports, the chip is just a formality.

REAL Week 617

REAL - Reduce stress Exercise Adequate sleep Lower caloric intake

What Navy SEALs are required to do to make it into BUD/S:
Right up front: Never in a million years could I do what is required. However, I needed to start somewhere. Considering how fit the SEALs are, I figured it was a good place to start. My pushups are against the wall.

Using 1, 2, and/or 4-lb weights:
PT ~ Physical therapy
UBP ~ Upper body exercises, pushups, and chair sits against the wall

SEALFit shared some good hints I want to learn and remember:

21: 1/2-mile walk PT UBP 0-lb x3 Stretch

22: 1-mile walk PT UBP 0-lb x3 1-lb x3 Stretch

23: Rest

24: 1-1/2 mile walk PT UBP 0-lb x3 1-lb x3 Stretch

25: 1/2 mile walk PT UBP 0-lb

Rule #1: Stop lying, especially to yourself. Before baby became a word, the term was fetus, in Latin. Fetus = Baby It's a baby.
