My Heroes...

Monday is Memorial Day, the day on which we remember our service men and women who gave their lives in the fight for liberty.

May their families be blessed.

All gave some.
Some gave all.

TBR

25. The Bachelor Next Door by Kathryn Springer Inspirational Romance. Kathryn is one of my Yes authors. This book was supposed to be a trilogy, but I've learned she has changed publishers. I'll hunt her down on Amazon and try her books through the new publisher.

26. Dangerous Ground by Justine Davis Suspense Romance. It's the second of two books. Justine's stories touch me in many ways. She sees into my difficulties, my sore spots, my dreams.

27. A Whole Lot of Love by Justine Davis Contemporary Romance. I love her characters and stories. I identified with so much in this book.

28. The Prince's Wedding by Justine Davis Contemporary Romance. This was part of a three-book series, shared with other authors. I don't know who they are. It wasn't among my favorites.

29. Cinder's Bride: Mail Order Brides of Texas Book 1 by Kathleen Ball Western Romance. A pleasant short read.

30. Keegan's Bride: Mail Order Brides of Texas Book 2 by Kathleen Ball Western Romance.

Week 357 of REAL

REAL - Reduce stress Exercise Adequate sleep Lower caloric intake

What Navy SEALs are required to do to make it into BUD/S:
Right up front: Never in a million years could I do what is required. However, I needed to start somewhere. Considering how fit the SEALs are, I figured it was a good place to start. So my SEAL puppy reps (SEALp) consist of girls' pushups, crunches, and flutter kicks, a SEAL training basic. I started with doing one of each.  Since my accident I haven't done these, but I'm working to add them back into my routine.

PT ~ Physical therapy
UB ~ Upper body exercises

SEALFit shared some good hints I want to learn and remember:

20: Short walks. PT. UB. Stretch.

21: 2-mile walk. PT. UB. Stretch.

22: Rest.

23: 1-mile walk. PT. UB. Stretch.

24: Short walks. PT. UB. Stretch.

25: 1-mile walk. PT. UB. Stretch.

26: Short walks. PT. UB. Stretch.

The first picture was taken in February 2012. The second picture was taken in June 2012. Inspiration, at least to me:

Brain Dump

Rule #1: Stop lying, especially to yourself. Before baby became a word, the term was fetus, in Latin. Fetus = Baby It's a baby.
