Week 189 of REAL...

REAL - Reduce stress Exercise Adequate sleep Lower caloric intake

What Navy SEALs are required to do to make it into BUD/S:
RIght up front: Never in a million years could I do what is required. However, I needed to start somewhere. Considering how fit the SEALs are, I figured it was a good place to start. So my SEAL puppy reps (SEALp) consist of girls' pushups, crunches, and flutter kicks, a SEAL training basic. I started with doing one of each.

PT ~ Physical therapy using 2-lb and 1-lb weights, alternating days.
UB ~ Upper body exercises
I'm starting low, at 10, to restart my workouts, with no weights yet.

30: 2-mile walk. PT.

31: 2-mile walk. PT.

February

1: Rest.

2: 2-mile walk. PT.

3: 1-mile walk. PT.

4: 2-mile walk. PT.

5: No walk. Over slept and woke with a headache. PT.

TBR List...

6. The Ghost Keeper by Devon Wells ~ I'm not a paranormal fan, but this story intrigued me. It will be triggering for some.

7. Heart Not Taken by Naomi Dawn Musch ~ Novella Christian romance

8. What To Do When You are Rejected by James Altucher ~ I think I downloaded it for free. It was definitely worth it. Keeping it on my Kindle. Some good advice, like you're more likely to be rejected than not, so you might as well roll with it. Science only knows what 4% of the universe is, which means it doesn't know what 96% of it is; how's that for an epic fail?

9. The Red Suit Diaries by Ed Butchart ~ I've actually been reading this in bits and pieces for years and finally finished it. Well worth the read.

10. The Earl's Mistaken Bride by Abby Gaines ~ A Christian Regency romance. Abby has a quirky sense of humor I enjoy.

Tuesday Follow Up...

How'd I do?

Correcting the manuscript problem isn't done. I'm working to figure out the solution but having to do so from a new perspective. When performing a task I'm very linear. Backtracking and restarting in the middle is terribly confusing for me. Kind of weird when you consider I write books that way.

Didn't work on either book.

Did do a bit of reading.

1 out of 3 things done. Failing.

Slept several hours. Not feeling quite well. Not sleeping well at night. A large, winged insect invaded my room. It took a few hours, but I finally killed it. Very distracting.

Fortunately, I'm permitted to start over again, today.

Rereading what I've written, it sounds like I accomplished very little. I actually wrote about a half dozen posts for blogs, visited a number of blogs and posted replies, stayed on top of FB sort of, and sorted through emails.

I simply didn't accomplish what I'd planned.

We'll see how today goes.
