Rule #1: Stop lying, especially to yourself. Before baby became a word, the term was fetus, in Latin. Fetus = Baby It's a baby.

LOL re the lawn ornaments... that is the best one I have heard in a long time (although I know you were not making it up!)... just funny. Makes me think of the ground gnomes (or whatever they are called; my memory is awful) from Harry Potter, that are actually alive and hate to be pulled up and they scream and so forth. Actually those things might be preferable to the scads of plastic pink flamingoes that we have where I live (I mean, in my state...not in my yard!)..
ReplyDeleteOur lawn is COVERED SOLID in acorns. We have two huge oaks, as do many people in our area, and the acorns have been, well, uncountable. They simply won't stop. They sound like hail, on our roof. The squirrels are all having a field day (no pun intended), gorging on them, then digging holes and hiding some, eating some more, then hiding some more. They're getting fat. :) But that's good, since we are supposed to have a 'cold' winter here.
So glad CHRIS is blooming ! yea!
Also nice that you were able to visit with your sister-in-law!
Taking a friend to the new HP movie today, as she cannot yet drive. Plus, it's just nice to visit her. Her double mastectomy was on Nov. 15. She is healing up, but has a very long way to go.
I had tons of plans for Sunday, but after church in the AM, such as going to a mall to shop after church, then later going w/hubby to a concert back at the church at 5 pm. But after church I was 'finished' ... the run-over-by-a-truck thing.
So we went straight home and I slept from 12 to 430. Probably would have slept all the night thru if hubby hadn't wakened me to eat some food. (I wasn't upset w/him.)
We worked on Chrsitmas cards, and I barely had the energy to do that.
Today I feel more human. :)
Take care,
Many prayers,
M
