She and her husband came to America, from Bristol, England, in 1770, and then Georgia, in 1773. Her husband's popularity excelled until 1777. The tides turned, so much so, that after his death, due to a duel, she and her children "disappeared."
Such a brief hold on a moment in history and then gone, like a puff of smoke. And yet, that moment in history changed the world forevermore.
