You live on planet earth: the climate WILL change. Don't like it? Too bad. It's worse on other planets. Sort of the nature of planets...oh...Then again, if you're one of those who thinks you can change DNA on a whim, you'll believe you can change anything you want. Get used to being disappointed. Be warned: Eternity is a long time to realize you were wrong.

96. Slayers (Slayers series Book 1) by CJ Hill YA urban fantasy. Dragons exist, and there are those who think they can control them and those who know they must be ready for the coming devastation.
97. Murphy: Cowboy Deceived (Kavanaugh Brothers Book 6) by Kathleen Ball inspirational Western romance. A world of hurt because of lies.
98. Love in Any Language (Love and Honor series Prequel) by Hallee Bridgeman Christian Suspense romance. The opening to a new series and what a page-turning opening!
99. The Undercover Billionaire (Kissing a Billionaire Timeless Romance Anthology 22) by Taylor Hart contemporary romance. Enjoyable, and I want to read the next story in her Jaggers series.
100. Be My Plus One (Kissing a Billionaire Timeless Romance Anthology 22) by Heather B. Moore contemporary romance. Loved it!

In early June, I saw an article posted that in the third summer of the pandemic American's aren't taking it seriously. Ummm, maybe because the pandemic was declared over? We won't go into the muddy details. What would be the point? Those who want it to continue will gather their favorite studies, and those who want it to end will present their favorite studies. Overall, Americans aren't giving over to the fear mongering anymore. We've decided to live life and accept that Life, by its very nature, is terminal.

Jesus was not a socialist. If He had been a socialist, the 5 loaves and 2 fishes would have been the rule instead of the exception. If He had been a socialist, He would have produced coins out of the mouths of fish for every person. Socialism doesn't empower, it enslaves. Jesus was and is all about setting slaves free.

91. For Love's Sake by Staci Stallings historical romance. Staci starts the book by admitting she isn't a historical writer, but she loved the story. I'm glad she shared it. I enjoyed it.
92. Candle Glow and Mistletoe Christmas (Romance on the Oregon Trail Book 5) by Kathleen Ball Western romance. Enjoyable quick read.
93. Love Before Midnight by Kathleen Ball contemporary Western romance. Touched my heart.
94. Operation Payback (Cutter's Code series) by Justine Davis suspense romance. I love redemption stories, and Justine always does them even better than I hoped. (She does have bedroom scenes.)
95. A Stockingful of Joy by Justine Dare (Davis), Mary Jo Putney, Susan King, and Jill Barnett four-story anthology historical romance. I enjoyed Justine's and Mary Jo's, a western and a Regency.

Please, stop apologizing for your grandparents only having an 8th grade education. You're comparing apples and oranges. Your 8th grade education is not the same animal in any way shape or form. Sometime, go hunting for the 8th grade graduation tests. I've read them, and I never even studied many of the things they were required to know by heart. For the record, most college graduates can't pass those old 8th grade tests.
Lesson? We too often compare the present with the past without factoring in context.
The sad part is that the comparison is too often used as a way to demean and belittle.

Rule #1: Stop lying, especially to yourself. Before baby became a word, the term was fetus, in Latin. Fetus = Baby It's a baby.
