Brain Dump

Not so long ago, I remembering being told that I was stupid and arrogant for claiming to do my own homework on a public issue. I saw this kind of condemnation posted everywhere to anyone who didn't agree with the accepted narrative. Do you know what this taught? You will think what I tell you to think and nothing else. The adversary is rolling with laughter as his plan is peddled openly and with pride.

TBR 2024

81. The Morning Side of Dawn by Justine Davis contemporary romance. Follows "Left at the Altar." Again, I don't find the bedroom scenes necessary, so why do I keep reading? Every single book touches on something that I need to think about, consider, or rethink.

82. Target of Opportunity (Target series book 1) by Justine Davis contemporary romance.

83. Out of the Dark (Target series book 2) by Justine Davis contemporary romance. The steamy scenes are easily skipped without losing story.

84. Lover Under Cover (Trinity Street West Book 2) by Justine Davis contemporary romance. One Last Chance was the first book in the series but occurred two years previous to the restart of the series.

85. Leader of the Pack (Trinity Street West Book 3) by Justine Davis contemporary romance.

REAL Jun 17-22

REAL - Reduce stress Exercise Adequate sleep Lower caloric intake

Too hot to walk but moving more, not sitting for as long. I've been feeling stuffed eating two meals a day. Trying to spread one meal over the whole day. So far, so good. Actually sleeping better; instead of waking every two hours, it's four and three. Yes, that's only seven hours sleep. A short nap, less than an hour, in the afternoon is helping. One week at a time.

Brain Dump

The United States of America is NOT a democracy; it's a Republic. You know, like it says in the Pledge of Allegiance: "...and to the REPUBLIC, for which it stands." The "experts" say that the country is a democracy. Repeat: America is a democratic REPUBLIC. And you expect the experts to be revered and believed just because they claim to be experts when clearly they are not.

REAL Jun 10-15

REAL - Reduce stress Exercise Adequate sleep Lower caloric intake

Took a short walk on Thursday as the outside temp was the same as inside. It won't be much longer until overnight is warmer than inside. Not looking forward to that. Still fiddling with my eating habits, trying to find something that works. Trying to turn out the lights before midnight and better if it's around 10 pm.

TBR 2024

76. A Whole Lot of Love by Justine Davis contemporary romance. I think it's interesting that the early Justine Davis novels are steamer than her later books. I like the greater focus on the characters and their relationship over the physical aspect. People who hate each other can have chemistry, but the relationship can't last; not to mention it isn't healthy.

77. Stevie's Chase by Justine Davis contemporary romance. I'm replacing several eformat books with paperback so I can clear them off my device. I'm re-reading them as they arrive.

78. Left at the Altar by Justine Davis contemporary romance. While the previous book and this one are considered stand alone, this follows, using characters from the previous book.

79. One Last Chance by Justine Davis contemporary romance.

80. Errant Angel by Justine Davis contemporary romance. Oh, my gosh! It's another angel book; a brief reference is made to "Angel For Hire." Love that book. I didn't even know the two books were related. How did I miss that? Probably read them too far apart to catch the connection. Fun surprise.

REAL - Reduce stress Exercise Adequate sleep Lower caloric intake

Not as much workout walking done. It's too hot. Doing more physical therapy. Trying to eat healthier and less. Still struggling with stuffing. Not giving up. Doing better at going to bed earlier.

Brain Dump

You broke the law. You were repeatedly told you were breaking the law, not once, not twice, but over a dozen times. Then you're surprised when you're arrested and punished. It's called responsibility and accountability.

71. His Father's Son (Sweetapple Falls series Book 1 Cherish Box Set) by Autumn Macarthur contemporary Christian romance.

72Sink or Swim (Crescent Cove series Book 3 Cherish Box Set) by Lesley Ann McDaniel contemporary Christian romance.

73. Angel Kisses and Riversong (Riversong series Book 1Cherish Box Set) by Lynette Bonner contemporary Christian romance.

74Skye (Rainbow Girl series Book 1 Cherish Box Set) by Heather Gray contemporary Christian romance. I wasn't sure I'd like this book when I started, but it didn't take long to become lost in the story and have trouble putting it down. I want to read the next one.

75Ask You Later (Savannah Sweetheart series Cherish Box Set) by Jan Thompson contemporary Christian romance.

REAL May 27 - Jun 1

REAL - Reduce stress Exercise Adequate sleep Lower caloric intake

The climbing temperatures are making it difficult to go out and walk. I'm still doing my physical therapy and trying to do more reps while watching television. I'm trying to eat healthier. I'm also working to go to bed earlier.

Rule #1: Stop lying, especially to yourself. Before baby became a word, the term was fetus, in Latin. Fetus = Baby It's a baby.
