Week 367 of REAL

REAL - Reduce stress Exercise Adequate sleep Lower caloric intake

What Navy SEALs are required to do to make it into BUD/S:
Right up front: Never in a million years could I do what is required. However, I needed to start somewhere. Considering how fit the SEALs are, I figured it was a good place to start. So my SEAL puppy reps (SEALp) consist of girls' pushups, crunches, and flutter kicks, a SEAL training basic. I started with doing one of each.  Since my accident I haven't done these, but I'm working to add them back into my routine.

PT ~ Physical therapy
UB ~ Upper body exercises

SEALFit shared some good hints I want to learn and remember:

29: Short walks. PT. UB. Stretch.

30: 1-3/4 mile walk. PT. UB. Used 1-lb weights. Stretch.

31: Rest.

August

1: 1-1/2 mile walk. PT. UB. Used 1-lb weights. Stretch.

2: Short walks. PT. UB. Stretch.

3: 1-1/2 mile walk. PT. UB. Used 1-lb weights. Stretch.

4: Short walks. PT. UB. Stretch.

The first picture was taken in February 2012. The second picture was taken in June 2012. Inspiration, at least to me:

Food Follow Up

The experiment is proving fascinating.

I'm allowed to have one Dove Promise. If I want another, I have to choose a piece of paper. Haven't chosen one yet. However, I am choosing some of the other options without using the papers.

A week down. We'll see how things are going in another week.

Follow Up 2 Aug 2016

NASCAR ~ Carl came in 8th, after the race was called early because of fog. FOG.

How'd I do?

I added over 1,000 words to All or Nothing. Progress. Feel like a roadblock has been moved, a bit.

Exercised. Yay!

Ate healthy. Yay!

Did not defrost the fridge. Plans had to change.

Did not watch television, except to check the weather.

Read.
