What an interesting maiden name. More so because it's her father's last name and he was a reverend.
She married Samuel Huntington, a lawyer, fifteen years before the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
At least she wasn't surprised by the politics as her father was also involved in politics.
They had no children of their own but adopted his brother's two children.
She died at fifty-six, and her husband two years later, though he was eight years old. So young.
I wonder if she was happy? Content? I hope she was.
