Good Friday

The day may be dark, but Sunday is coming.

Today is also Tolkien Reading Day, celebrating the destruction of the Ring in Lord of the Rings. In years past, I flew to L.A. and participated in the events of the local Tolkien group. I miss it.

My friend Janet Nelson-Alvarez, poetess extraordinaire, agreed to share a trio of poems to celebrate the day. John Cockshaw, a remarkable artist, shared some of his work. This is the first:

They worked together to create the beautiful book The Road, Taken, available at Oloris Publishing and Amazon.
