My Heroes... Elizabeth Montgomery Witherspoon

Married Reverend Witherspoon after he completed his education in Edinburgh. Elizabeth wasn't well educated but was described as gracious and beloved. I can't imagine a better description. They had ten children, but only five survived by the time they left Scotland for America, where Witherspoon was engaged as the President of Princeton. It was the second invitation. Elizabeth talked him out of it the first time, wanting to remain close to family in Scotland. I wondered what changed her mind the second time?

Brain Dump

Rule #1: Stop lying, especially to yourself. Before baby became a word, the term was fetus, in Latin. Fetus = Baby It's a baby.
