My Heroes... Nancy Savage Taylor

She married George Taylor and bore two children. As usual, little is known of her. She was the young wife of the lessee who accepted George as an indentured servant, after running away from Ireland. Mr. Savage discovered George to be well educated and clever and moved him up in the business. When Mr. Savage died, George married his widow. The Savages had no children, but George fathered two, a son and a daughter. I cannot help but wonder what kind of woman she was. Were they happy? Perhaps not in the fairy tale way, but maybe. Perhaps, today, we put too much stock in fairy tales.
