Headline: Can we save the planet by shrinking the economy?
Wait...what?
WE cannot save the planet. The planet belongs to God. God did it right the first time. We can mess things up, but we cannot frustrate the plans of God. Pretending we have that kind of power is arrogant, prideful, and frankly insane or at least incredibly stupid.
However, we can destroy human life by pretending we can save the planet by shrinking the economy.
Dear God, please deliver us from evil and willful ignorance.
