Brain Dump

I've refused to eat soy, as much as is possible in this processed food world, for years. People do a "yeah, yeah" when I complain about the problems with soy, then recite to me all the supposed benefits. Earlier this week, Monday to be exact, a recent study has reportedly found that soybean oil is worse than high fructose corn syrup.

Boston Market frozen dinners are on the never again list. I prefer Marie Callenders and Banquet.

I saw my first ad for the re-election of one of my state senators. It's a compelling ad, except about half of it is lies. In 2010, he implied certain promises, repeating those promises as late as 2013, even as he made deals nullifying those promises. He broke his campaign promises. For me, that constitutes a lie. I've seen far too much of such dishonorable behavior among politicians. Their actions speak so loudly I can't hear their words. Their actions declare their love of money and power above upholding their oath of office to defend the Constitution, an appalling breach of honor and integrity. They've completely forgotten they are public servants.

Cecil, an old lion, is killed. The world is outraged. Numerous unborn babies are carefully crushed and dissected so their body parts can be sold, and the world is silent.

Brain Dump

Rule #1: Stop lying, especially to yourself. Before baby became a word, the term was fetus, in Latin. Fetus = Baby It's a baby.
