There are too many sustainable options available for us to continue with coal and oil. Sorry, billionaires. Maybe try investing in something else. No, the science is not settled. That's a weak argument. The purpose of science is to prove the experts wrong. Science is never settled.
Green technology requires rare earth metals, which are RARE as in scarce as in there isn't enough to meet your demand. Have you looked into the mining of rare earth metals? The making and disposal of solar panels and windmills is so expensive and dirty that it makes coal and oil look clean.
Nuclear Energy is the least expensive and cleanest form of energy, but it is rejected due to ignorance.
Another perspective on the wonders of increased carbon emissions: Plants love it! Are you saying you hate plants?
