REAL Week 587

 REAL - Reduce stress Exercise Adequate sleep Lower caloric intake

What Navy SEALs are required to do to make it into BUD/S:
Right up front: Never in a million years could I do what is required. However, I needed to start somewhere. Considering how fit the SEALs are, I figured it was a good place to start. My pushups are against the wall.

Using 1, 2, and/or 4-lb weights:
PT ~ Physical therapy
UBP ~ Upper body exercises, pushups, and chair sits against the wall

Brain Dump

 In the Bible, the Lord promised He wouldn't flood the earth again, like He did during Noah's time. God even sent a rainbow as a promise. I'm fascinated that the promise was that He would never be "wroth" again. If you've read the Bible, you know that the Lord is angry with them, again. I wonder if perhaps "wroth" isn't simply angry but carrying out a punishment, anger pushed to action. However, then I think about what happened to Egypt, and maybe not. Then again, God never flooded the earth again. He hasn't wiped anything out. He's allowed the natural ebb and flow of the earth, hurricanes, tornadoes, swarming insects, disease, earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, blizzards...something to think about.

Brain Dump

The CDC shared a study. 85% of those who contracted the latest virus Always or usually wore a mask. On the other hand, 8% of those who never wore a mask contracted the virus. So you are 10x more likely to contract the virus if you wear a mask. I think I'd rather risk the 8% than the 85%. (At least in this study.) Why are those who scream "follow the science" refusing to follow the science?
