REAL 2025 April 28

The tendons around my knee are healing, not buckling once. I'll need to be careful for a while longer, but it's a blessing to see improvement, however slowly. The more I lean more toward carnivore, the less snacking I do. Sleeping is hit or miss; one night it was about 3 hours, the next couple were closer to 8.

Brain Dump

I'm astonished at how "awful" the current president is after the corruption of the last administration. Really? Life is uncertain. I don't understand why anyone is surprised by change: A guaranteed occurrence. The majority of the country actually voted for what is happening and may be surprised only because what was voted for is actually being done. Who does that? Not the typical politician. I read another blog condemning what is happening as being like Putin...wait...what? Fascism has been used so often incorrectly as to no longer mean what it actually means and has simply become another name for the current president, regardless of the fact that if he is practicing fascism then he's doing it wrong. Is he the smartest man in the room? No. Is he the best man in the room? No. Is he good at business? His empire is evidence enough. He has done what he said he would do, a rarity in this world. Is he perfect? Definitely not, but maybe, just maybe, he is doing is best, like most of us.

34Vigilant (The Night Guardians series Book 1) by Sara Davison romance.

REAL 2025 April 21

Knee is healing, an occasional twinge but hasn't buckled this past week. Whew. I wake up to dreams or nightmares, every single time. Tiring. Eating healthier, more protein, less snacks.

Happy Easter Day

Jesus Christ lives! Now and forever. He is resurrected, raised from the dead, alive, never to die again. He is Risen! He conquered death and hell, the destruction of the body and spirit. He is the victor over the adversary now and forever. The battle is won. The only question now is which team are you going to choose?

Saturday

The disciples, despite being repeatedly warned about what was coming, are in disarray, confused, in mourning, believing all is lost. Jesus TOLD THEM what would happen. They believed in Him, but they didn't BELIVE Him. A question I must often ask myself: I believe in Him, no doubt, but do I BELIVE Him? I'm working on learning to do that. The disciples didn't know, but I do: Sunday is coming.

Good Friday

How could this be? Lord and Master brought before "justice." He seeks not justice but forgiveness for those who wrongfully torture Him. He could wipe them all out with a word. He is silent. He could rise Himself to King and rule over all. He allows unworthy others to lord over Him. Instead of being treated like the royalty He is, He is scourged as a common criminal. He could heal them all if they but believe, but they wound Him. Even the earth objects to the injustice. It is over.

Easter is coming.

Celebrate with a story.

The Blessing Basket

The thirteenth novella in the series...

Welcome back to Holiday, USA, small town America, where nothing happens, except holidays... and a little romance, if the hero and heroine trust God.

Cici, Candy Crothers, lies to everyone, except her Holiday Diner boss, only because he informed her if she lied to him he'd fire her. She ran away from an ugly past and still worries it might catch up to her. Sharing her nightmares is nowhere on her list of things to do, ever.

Trace Brown left the Army honorably but not unscathed. Anger controls his life, holding him back from pretty much everything, including becoming a chef at Holiday Diner. The diner's head hostess intrigues him, but not enough to risk sharing his day-to-day battle with PTSD.

Nothing can drive God away. His hand is stretched out still. He is always there, waiting...

Palm Sunday

Jesus Christ enters Jerusalem, cheered as a conquering hero. He is celebrated as the king and yet, do any of those celebrants really believe what they're saying? They wanted a hero to defeat the Romans. They wanted the miracles. Who among them wanted to repent of their sins? Who among them wanted to humble themselves before God and accept Jesus as the Savior and Redeemer of their souls though they would continue to suffer in life? Who among them would hold true to Jesus no matter how difficult life became? Who among them was willing to suffer for Jesus sake? Am I?

Brain Dump

So congress has decided to write a law to stop tariffs, not the tariffs being placed by other countries costing the American people but the tariffs that are evening the playing field, equal to what other countries are charging the US. So equality for other countries but not for the US taxpayer. Dear Congress, you work for US not them. Dear Congress, WE the people voted in this president, decidedly, stop violating our vote; he isn't doing anything he didn't say he would do: WE knew what we were voting for, and just because you don't like it doesn't give you the right to act against our votes. No, you are NOT smarter than we are. You have proven how not smart you are and how greedy you are. You make promises to get elected and then violate those very promises to keep everything the same, money rolling into your pockets and out of ours. You work for US not US for you.

Prepare for Easter

Christmas is fun, a birthday, joyous, but only the beginning. Easter is the end for which the first was made. Easter captures the full range of evil and good with the clear victor being good. Perhaps the reason we don't celebrate Easter like we do Christmas is because of the ultimate sadness involved. We only want the happy parts of the story. However, it's the sad parts that make the happy possible, not just for now but for always. At Christmas, Jesus is the gift. He teaches us how to live our best life, to become our best self. At Easter, He gives us the greatest gift possible: Deliverance by conquering death and hell; He saves us body and soul. Everyone will be resurrected, everyone! No exceptions. Everyone is given the opportunity to accept Jesus as their Redeemer, Savior, Lord, and King to live with Him forever. Some will not choose Him, but they are given the right to choose. Those who choose Him will know unimaginable joy. Easter is the annual reminder of the choices we have before us. Which path will you choose?

REAL 2025 April 7

Unfortunately, I injured my knee, so walking has been hindered significantly. I am eating much healthier and feeling it and losing weight consistently. My sleeping habit have improved, but unfortunately, this means my nightmares are back, every single night. I wake up tired either way. I'm endeavoring to be ALL IN with God, learning experience.

Brain Dump

Judges cannot only be impeached but should be impeached when their opinion defies the Constitution or is an attempt to legislate from the bench. Judges are not sacred or holy or above everyone else. Judges are on the bench to uphold the laws of the land. If they don't agree with those laws, they are not permitted to go their own way. Impeach every judge who thinks and acts like he/she is smarter, wiser, better than those they serve. They are no longer fulfilling their purpose and should not be stealing money (pay) from those they serve.
