For those who don't know: Killing scorpions elevates your heart rate. Don't know how much cardio it counts for, but I think it should count for quite a lot. But that's just me. Short walks as my knee and ankle keep acting up. Annoying. Sleep is a frustrating rollercoaster. Eating is better. Physical therapy is sporadic.

Note about Blogger
I have discovered that even though I'm signed into my own site, I am forced to reply to comments as anonymous. Really. Unless I agree to allow Google to track me everywhere. Hmmm... not a fan of that. I've also noticed that this happens in Safari but not in Firefox. Feel free to comment as Anonymous but maybe sign your name in the comments, if you want. I need to start doing that. New habit to learn. Technology is wonderful and annoying.

TBR 2025
76. Believe in Tomorrow (Callaghans and McFaddens series Book 4) by Kimberly Rae Jordan Christian romance. A touching story of forgiveness and accepting God's grace. A timely story for me.
77. Crossing Center Ice (Callaghans and McFaddens series Book 5) by Kimberly Rae Jordan Christian romance. While each story in the series is a stand alone and told linear, they do overlap. The epilogue gives you the satisfying finish, the next story will start further back. I enjoy the main characters and the secondary ones.
78. A Touch of Romance (Callaghans and McFaddens series Book 6) by Kimberly Rae Jordan Christian romance. A found the story uncomfortable; who wants to read about the flaws in yourself? A stranger holding up a mirror to your life. I enjoyed reading how the heroine worked through and the hero's perspective.
79. A Little Ray of Sunshine (Callaghans and McFaddens series Book 7) by Kimberly Rae Jordan Christian romance. Once again, I saw myself in aspects of the characters.
80. Reaching Her Heart (Callaghans and McFaddens series Book 8) by Kimberly Rae Jordan Christian romance. Again, I found common ground with both characters and ways of improving.

REAL 2025 June 23
Both the left knee and right ankle have given unpleasant, unwanted twinges. Still walking, if short. Working to improve sleeping, though not particularly successful. Eating has improved but still muff it up several times a week. Keep working. Keep trying.

Brain Dump
Calling Jesus a refugee because he moved from Israel to Egypt is like calling someone a refugee when they move from Arkansas to Missouri. It's all the United States of America, just like Egypt and Israel were all part of the land that belonged to the Roman Empire. Jesus, a Jew by birth and heritage, only preached to the Jews, with few exceptions. His apostles took the message further. Sorry the truth doesn't fit the lawless agenda.

71. Gareth (The Halversons series Book 1) by Kimberly Rae Jordan Christian romance. I wouldn't mind being adopted into the Halverson family.
72. A Handful of Flowers (Callaghans and McFaddens series Book 0) by Kimberly Rae Jordan Christian romance. Sweet, inspiring start to the series.
73. A Change of Heart (Callaghans and McFaddens series Book 1) by Kimberly Rae Jordan Christian romance. Intense and steadfast, two very different personalities create a beautiful blend.
74. For the Love of Grace (Callaghans and McFaddens series Book 2) by Kimberly Rae Jordan Christian romance. Sometimes Happily Ever After comes along later than hoped, but it comes. There is always hope.
75. The Love of Her Life (Callaghans and McFaddens series Book 3) by Kimberly Rae Jordan Christian romance. Adventure comes in many forms.

Brain Dump
If the current leader of the country is acting like a king, he's doing it wrong. A king wouldn't bother with the Constitution or contend with anyone. He'd just wipe them off the planet. You know, like other dictators have done. But he hasn't. For the record: June 14 is the 250th birthday of the military. A run up to the 250th birthday of the country, something that wouldn't exist without the military. Kind of a big deal.

67. Say You Love Me (Pine Valley series Book 3) by Heather B. Moore contemporary romance.

69. Until We Kissed (Pine Valley series Book 6) by Heather B. Moore contemporary romance.
70. All For You (Pine Valley series Book 8) by Heather B. Moore contemporary romance. A nice series. Pine Valley sounds like a lovely place to live, though this one is in California. The one I know is in southern Utah.

Brain Dump
One of the signs of the last day is a plague that covers the whole earth. Many thought it was the virus of 2020, until it wasn't. Many think the plague is yet to come. According to WHO, every year, around the world, "there are around 73 million induced abortions." According to another site, the conservative number is 40 million a year for over 30 years, meaning over 1,200,000,000, yes, that's over a billion babies terminated. It's more lives than any other cause of death and more than several of the leading causes combined. Some will shout that there are fewer with the repeal of Roe vs Wade. Ummm. Nope. The number has increased, only now the abortions are being done at home with pills through the mail. The plague is here and spreading.

63. Not Over You (Prosperity Ranch series Book 3) by Heather B. Moore contemporary romance.
64. Seasoned with Love (Prosperity Ranch series Book 4) by Heather B. Moore contemporary romance. Not a bad series, I just didn't really identify with anyone. There were laugh out loud moments.

REAL 2025 June 2
Walked to the end of my street (a few houses) and back a few times. Tried PT for my knee, but it still gives me a little trouble, as do my ankles. Not giving up. Eating healthy is easier if I stick to a strict routine. Sleep is plagued with nightmares, waking up tired.
