92. A Change of Fortune by Traci Hunter Abramson inspirational romance. I'm fascinated by the unexpected perspective. I hope I would be more like Brooke than what's typical. Nowhere near deep pockets, I'm trying to be more responsible and thoughtful. 

93. Hawk's Lady (The Ladies of Quality Collection) by Sharon Gillenwater Regency romance. 

94. Amazing Grace by Eric Metaxas. The extraordinary nonfiction biography of William Wilberforce (1759-1833). Wilberforce was friends with John Newton who penned the song "Amazing Grace." Wilberforce was one of the early abolitionists who fought much of his life to end slavery. He also sought to reform manners, to instill the Golden Rule in every day. He lived it. He developed a remarkable circle of friends who supported each other in their Christian walk and their goals to live their Christian faith in every way. An amazing life. 

95. Novel Threat (Pen and Dagger series Book 1) by Traci Hunter Abramson suspense romance. Page turner! Curious to see how the series will continue. Next book isn't out until 2026.

The focus is on women and how abortion affects them. I often hear the bitter exclamation that men don't suffer anything. Short-term, perhaps not. Long term consequences last forever. God created men to be the priest, provider, and protector of the home. When men refuse to embrace those three things, they lose themselves and their future. A male who ignores his calling of leading his home, who refuses to take care of those he helped bring into the world, and refuses to be the safe place for the people in his life abandons himself and his sacred calling. He sells his soul for a mess of pottage. He is a slave. No amount of puffing out his chest, bragging, or preening will ever be able to cover the stench of depravity into which he has sunk himself. Repent. Turn back to God. Choose His way. Choose to be a man of honor, courage, strength, integrity, trustworthiness, dependability. Seek and apply the Atonement of Jesus Christ and become the Priest, Provider, and Protecter God called you to be before you were born before it's too late.

87. Royal Duty (Royal series Book 5) by Traci Hunter Abramson suspense romance. Page turner. Love the dogs! 

88. Royal Intrigue (Royal series Book 6) by Traci Hunter Abramson suspense romance. And another page turner. Wonder who will be next in the series. 

89. A Love so Strong by Arlene James Christian romance. It isn't listed as part of a series, but it definitely reads like it is. A reviewer on Amazon confirmed that hunch with the titles of the other books, "A Family to Share" and "Deck the Halls." 

90. Chances Are (Chances series Book 1) by Traci Hunter Abramson inspirational romance. I needed a favorite read. This series qualifies.

REAL 2015 Jul 14

Short walks. Below 110 is manageable. Above 110, it's difficult to even breathe. With the hot weather, smoothies are a regular part of the diet. Interesting change, choosing cherries and chicken salad over chips, popcorn, and cookies. Learning. Waking early is a returning habit. Upped the water intake to stay hydrated.

Dear Press/Media: The First Amendment does NOT give you the right to print/broadcast half truths, lies, twisted facts, revised history, agendas/narratives, etc, and pretend any of those things are the truth. I have watched you lie and take things out of context and all the rest for over 40 years. How do I know? I was present or someone I knew was present. I watched to see what you would do. You failed. If you are unwilling to do the actual work of verifying information and reporting the truth, go to Hollywood and get involved with the TV/Movie industry that is based in fiction. Pretending you care about the truth is revolting. Don't expect anyone to trust you when you have been repeatedly caught in deceptive practices. Never forget that the Constitution was based on Biblical principles. While you are free to speak, when you lie you are violating a higher law. Instead of reminding those who call you out that the First Amendment exists, go read the 10 Commandments again, especially the one about not bearing false witness. 

Take a breath. 

Let it go. 

Jesus already won. 

Trust Him.

REAL 2025 Jul 7

Short walks. Physical therapy, off and on, needing to get back into the regular habit. Trimmed Queen Palm, requiring stretching and strength. Eating is good some days and not so good others. Sleep habit change: I sleep the first few hours in my recliner with the fan keeping me cool. Then it's usually cool enough for me to go to bed and sleep several more hours.

81. The Cowboy Comes Home (Home at Last Texas series Book 3) by Justine Davis romance. A story of finding common ground. A deeply wounded hero and a heroine who lived a "charmed" life and learning to see through the eyes of the beloved. Still one of my favorite authors.

82. Love in Any Language  (Love and Honor series prequel) by Hallee Bridgeman romance. Quite the twist in the tale. I enjoyed the story.

83. Royal Target (Royal series Book 1) by Traci Hunter Abramson suspense romance. Yes, I've read the series before; however, a new book in the series was recently released. Love the series! Obviously. Despite having read this series a few times, I forget enough that it's still a page turner. 

84. Royal Secrets (Royal series Book 2) by Traci Hunter Abramson suspense romance. So difficult to put down! 

85. Royal Brides (Royal series Book 3) by Traci Hunter Abramson suspense romance. Breathe! Page turner.
