Brain Dump

The adversary wanted power and glory.

God said, "no."

The adversary threw a temper tantrum and stormed off, with a little help from those who fought against him. He thought he could rule and reign on earth.

Man, the natural man, who also seeks power and glory, is easily played, thinking he rules and reigns.

The Truth: God owns the earth and everything on it.

The adversary is allowed to storm and rage and wreck havoc, testing man.

In the end, the adversary will have nothing to show for all his bluster, nothing. He won't even be allowed to claim the souls who follow him. It will all be wiped away and they all thrown into outer darkness, nothingness.

Light belongs to God.

Choose God while there's still time.

REAL Week 614

REAL - Reduce stress Exercise Adequate sleep Lower caloric intake

What Navy SEALs are required to do to make it into BUD/S:
Right up front: Never in a million years could I do what is required. However, I needed to start somewhere. Considering how fit the SEALs are, I figured it was a good place to start. My pushups are against the wall.

Using 1, 2, and/or 4-lb weights:
PT ~ Physical therapy
UBP ~ Upper body exercises, pushups, and chair sits against the wall

SEALFit shared some good hints I want to learn and remember:

30: 1/4-mile walk PT UBP 0-lb x3 Stretch

May

1: 1-1/4 mile walk PT UBP 0-lb x3 1-lb x3 Stretch

2: Rest

3: 1-1/4 mile walk PT UBP 0-lb x3 1-lb x3 Stretch

4: 1/2 mile walk PT UBP 0-lb
x3 Stretch

5: 1-1/mile walk PT UBP 0-lb x3 1-lb x3 Stretch

6: PT UBP 0-lb x3 Stretch

TBR

46Hope for Tomorrow (Hope Ranch series Book 2) by Elizabeth Maddrey Christian romance. Skye runs away, and so do I. Morgan lays out all the possibilities, and so do I, which is difficult for someone like me who's easily overwhelmed. Loved the story and looking forward to reading the next.

47. Hope for Love (Hope Ranch series Book 3) by Elizabeth Maddrey Christian romance. Royal is a heartwarming hero. I so understand Sophie's struggle and dreams.

48. Hope for Freedom (Hope Ranch series Book 4) by Elizabeth Maddrey Christian romance. A redemption story, for a Christian who falls short and a new Christian just finding a new way of living.

49. Hope for Family (Hope Ranch series Book 5) by Elizabeth Maddrey Christian romance. A marriage of convenience story. A tougher sale in contemporary stories, but this one worked, for me. I enjoyed it.

50. Hope at Last (Hope Ranch series Book 6) by Elizabeth Maddrey Christian romance. An older couple, she's 53 and he's 60, a widow and widower but with very different backgrounds. I'm sorry to see the end of the series, but this was an awesome ending.
