Brain Dump

1 barrel of oil = 19-20 gallons of gas

The size of a barrel is a whole lot bigger than 19-20 gallons. 

What's done with the rest?

Plastic, fabric, packaging, medication, surgical tools, phones, computers, and a whole bunch more.

If you own an electric car, it may not burn gas made from oil, but it's made from oil products.

If you want to go back to the dark ages, feel free, but don't drag everyone else along with you to make yourself feel better.
