41.  Crashing Into Jake (Stryker Security Force Book 4) by Sara Blackard suspense romance.

42. The Bridesmaid's Hero (Snowgum Creek series Book 1.5) by Narelle Atkins inspirational romance. As an American reader, it's a fun escape to Australia. I enjoyed visiting unfamiliar places, and the animals were delightful. An enjoyable stand-alone novella.

43.  A Dangerous Nativity  (Dangerous series) by Caroline Warfield Regency romance.

44Under the Summer Mistletoe (Christmas Holiday Extravaganza) by Stacy Weeks  contemporary short story romance. Fun short read and piqued my interest in reading the other books.

45.  Only a Heartbeat Away by Julianna Desmond and JoAnn Durgin contemporary Christian romance. Sweet story.

REAL 2025 May 5

Knee is almost back to normal. This coming week, I want to start with short walks again. I got off track with physical therapy and am picking it up again. Eating healthy has been a bit sporadic. I want to do better this week. Sleep is erratic. I start in my recliner, where it's cooler, and then move to my bed to raise my feet, which helps with feet swelling. I'm sleeping better in the recliner now that I use a rice bag as a brace for my neck.

Brain Dump

Dear Environmentalist that are complaining about animals going extinct, button it. Scientist just brought back the Direwolf, which has been extinct for 13,000 years, give or take. If they can do that, why not the Dodo bird, spotted owl, smelt. After all, they're bringing back the wooly mammoth next. Put your favorite on the list. And the question no one is asking: There really isn't anything more worthwhile to spend that money on? Like: Why isn't that money being used to find cures for cancer? You know, so that people with cancer don't go extinct.

REAL 2025 April 28

The tendons around my knee are healing, not buckling once. I'll need to be careful for a while longer, but it's a blessing to see improvement, however slowly. The more I lean more toward carnivore, the less snacking I do. Sleeping is hit or miss; one night it was about 3 hours, the next couple were closer to 8.

Brain Dump

I'm astonished at how "awful" the current president is after the corruption of the last administration. Really? Life is uncertain. I don't understand why anyone is surprised by change: A guaranteed occurrence. The majority of the country actually voted for what is happening and may be surprised only because what was voted for is actually being done. Who does that? Not the typical politician. I read another blog condemning what is happening as being like Putin...wait...what? Fascism has been used so often incorrectly as to no longer mean what it actually means and has simply become another name for the current president, regardless of the fact that if he is practicing fascism then he's doing it wrong. Is he the smartest man in the room? No. Is he the best man in the room? No. Is he good at business? His empire is evidence enough. He has done what he said he would do, a rarity in this world. Is he perfect? Definitely not, but maybe, just maybe, he is doing is best, like most of us.

34Vigilant (The Night Guardians series Book 1) by Sara Davison romance.

REAL 2025 April 21

Knee is healing, an occasional twinge but hasn't buckled this past week. Whew. I wake up to dreams or nightmares, every single time. Tiring. Eating healthier, more protein, less snacks.

Happy Easter Day

Jesus Christ lives! Now and forever. He is resurrected, raised from the dead, alive, never to die again. He is Risen! He conquered death and hell, the destruction of the body and spirit. He is the victor over the adversary now and forever. The battle is won. The only question now is which team are you going to choose?

Tomorrow is Friendship Day

Celebrate with a story. Just Friends The sixth novella in the series. Welcome back to Holiday, USA, small town America, where nothing happen...
