Brain Dump

The Washington Post said that everyone should only shop every two weeks. What world do they live in? I'm allowed to buy two fresh milk products. My lactose-free milk only comes in 1/2-gallon cartons, so I'm allowed to buy 2 or 1-gal total. I drink over a gallon of milk a week. Milk is the only source of calcium that my body seems able to absorb. So, yes, I shop every week.

We aren't allowed to go to church, even with physical distancing, but public transportation is running, without physical distancing. How does any of this make sense?

When did we become a place where "experts" decided what was best for everyone in a one-size-fits-all solution? One-size-fits-none.

22 million people are unemployed, in America alone. Who decided 22 million people were not essential? I thought everyone was essential, everyone matters, everyone's important, everyone makes a difference. 22 million people cannot take care of themselves and/or their families.

Tell me, how many deaths are acceptable?

We all know none of us is making it out alive, right? Life is terminal. It's part of the package. Fear doesn't change that, but it does make life hell on earth.

REAL Week 559

REAL - Reduce stress Exercise Adequate sleep Lower caloric intake

What Navy SEALs are required to do to make it into BUD/S:
Right up front: Never in a million years could I do what is required. However, I needed to start somewhere. Considering how fit the SEALs are, I figured it was a good place to start. My pushups are against the wall.

Using 1, 2, and/or 4-lb weights:
PT ~ Physical therapy
UBP ~ Upper body exercises, pushups, and chair sits against the wall

SEALFit shared some good hints I want to learn and remember:

10: 1/2-mile walk PT UBP 0-lb x3 Stretch

11: 1-mile walk PT UBP 0-lb x3 1-lb x1 Stretch

12: Rest

13: 1-mile walk PT UBP 0-lb x3 1-lb x1 Stretch

14: 1/2 mile walk PT UBP 0-lb
x3 Stretch

15: 1-mile walk PT UBP 0-lb x3 1-lb x1 Stretch

16: 1/2-mile walk PT UBP 0-lb x3 Stretch

TBR

36. A Familiar Love Song (HOBBY RUN series book 1) by Arlene James inspirational romance. I enjoyed reading about an older couple, late 50s and early 60s. I've been reading Arlene James for a long time and still enjoy her stories.

37. Backlash (Saint Squad series) by Traci Hunter Abramson contemporary Christian suspense romance. Love it! Can't wait to start the next one, but I'm trying to pace myself and not be greedy.

38. My Wayfaring Billionaire by Jackie Castle Christian romance.

39. Smoke Screen (Saint Squad series) by Traci Hunter Abramson contemporary Christian suspense romance. Page-turning! It's becoming more difficult to pace myself. :D

40. Unwrapping Hope (A Widow's Might series novella) by Sandra Ardoin historical Christian romance. A sweet story.
