My teachers never talked about what they did outside of class. Ever. I didn't want to know and definitely didn't need to know. My teachers' jobs was to educate me in their chosen field of study. They complained about not having enough time to cover everything. Why would they waste time on personal information that was none of my business?

56. The Silver Mine Bachelor (Old West Collection: A Timeless Romance Anthology Book 7) by Heather B. Moore historical romance. Sad and tender but comes with a HEA.
57. The Sweetest Taste (Old West Collection: A Timeless Romance Anthology Book 7) by Annette Lyon historical romance. Sometimes we have to walk away to appreciate what we left behind. With luck, what we left behind will still be there.
58. Faith and the Foreman (Old West Collection: A Timeless Romance Anthology Book 7) by Marsha Ward historical romance. New to me author and want to try another story. I enjoyed this one.
59. Cowgirl Tough (Raffertys of Last Stand Book 4) by Justine Davis contemporary romance. I don't usually like the hate-each-other trope, but, with Justine's usual skill and perspective, she made it both believable and enjoyable.
60. Whisper If You Have To by Staci Stallings contemporary Christian romance. Staci tackles difficult subjects, like abuse, neglect, fighting evil. I only wish all her books were available in paperback. I enjoy rereading her stories and always feel spiritually strengthened and encouraged.

Brain Dump
Saw a commercial for "renewable energy" harping about wanting to protect millions of acres of land. I laughed. It will take millions of acres to create enough wind and solar farms to produce enough energy. Now, if they meant nuclear that's a whole other ball of wax. This is how you know if they're sincere: If they advocate nuclear, then they truly do support cleaner energy. If they shun nuclear, then it's their religion devoid of science or a feel-good narrative (lie).

Friday, is it Good?
A horrible day.
Jesus, my Savior, suffered at the hands of evil, wicked men.
They thought to destroy Him.
They thought His teachings would die with Him.
They thought they won.
But Sunday is coming.

Celebrate Easter with a story
The Blessing Basket
Welcome back to Holiday, USA, small town America, where nothing happens, except holidays... and a little romance, if the hero and heroine trust God.
Cici, Candy Crothers, lies to everyone, except her Holiday Diner boss, only because he informed her if she lied to him he'd fire her. She ran away from an ugly past and still worries it might catch up to her. Sharing her nightmares is nowhere on her list of things to do, ever.
Trace Brown left the Army honorably but not unscathed. Anger controls his life, holding him back from pretty much everything, including becoming a chef at Holiday Diner. The diner's head hostess intrigues him, but not enough to risk sharing his day-to-day battle with PTSD.
Nothing can drive God away. His hand is stretched out still. He is always there, waiting...

46. The Best Laid Plans (Spring Vacation Collection: A Timeless Romance Anthology Book 2) by Sarah M. Eden contemporary romance. Though I was a little annoyed with the heroine, she grew on me. Her flaw was a flaw I don't like in myself.
47. Picture Perfect (Spring Vacation Collection: A Timeless Romance Anthology Book 2) by Heather B. Moore romance. I've read this before, in "The Aliso Creek" series, and enjoyed it again.
48. The Science of Sentiment (Spring Collection: A Timeless Romance Anthology Book 2) by Aubrey Mace contemporary romance. First person.
49. Colton's Dangerous Reunion (The Coltons of Colorado series book 3) by Justine Davis suspense romance. I love the characters. In the flaws, I see myself. In their strengths, I see what I'd like to become.
50. Accidental Hero: Hometown Heroes A-Z (Born in Texas Book 1) by Jo Grafford contemporary inspirational western romance. Chokecherries were mentioned, and I remembered delicious chokecherry syrup and jam. One of my aunts made it. She even sent us some once. Enjoyable read and looking forward to reading more stories by Jo Grafford.

Brain Dump
I recently read that Lake Powell, a manmade lake in northern Arizona, is at it's lowest level since being created. The water pushing through the dam provides power and water to numerous states, including California.
Dear California, build your own dams. You have the capacity to feed the world. Politicians and "environmentalist" (they aren't real environmentalists because they've abandoned science for their religion of "science") worry about the condition of the world in a hundred years. They won't be there to see it. They've abandoned all hope of new technologies being developed beyond what we have now. They condemn the world now to starvation and drought to protect the "what if" world they've created in their heads.
How often do I cheat myself in the present because I've chained myself to the "what if" world created by my imaginings?
April Fool's Day: The day on which we are reminded of what we are the other 364 days of the year.
