Wow. They aren't even sure of her birth. Was it 1741 or 1742. The historians did know she was born in Kent County, VA. And she died many years after her husband, who died at forty-seven. What courage it takes to hold one's place in history, without glory or even notice.
I did a quick search for more information and found no more than I had. There are times when I fear being remembered and times when I fear being forgotten. I need to stop worrying about either and concentrate on filling my place in history.
