To my local police department, thank you for all you do. I'm grateful you patrol our streets on a regular basis. I appreciate your politeness. Thank you for doing a job that's often thankless.

I realize this picture is of a soldier, but I think the basic soul of the warrior is the same in both, to protect and to serve, to run in when everyone else is running out. God bless.
