It's beautiful! I've never made one myself, but I have several very precious quilts, including one that my grandmother made just for me when I was young.
ReplyDeleteThanks. What a precious gift she gave you.
DeleteThat is beautiful Judy. I just made my first quilt for my son (although it is not nearly as intricate as yours. I'm really a novice at sewing.) I aspire to make something so beautiful some day!
ReplyDeleteThank you! To be honest, Jessie, my sister started this quilt, with five squares. She didn't want to finish it, so gave it to me. It took me over 12 years to finish it. If I were to do it all over again, I'm not sure I'd take it on. :-) Ignorance of youth. LOL!
DeleteTwelve years! That's commitment. And it shows in the craftsmanship. It really is beautiful.
DeleteThank you!
DeleteIgnorance is bliss. Love the design and the colors. Beautiful. Congrats and thanks for sharing. Uplifting.
