What Navy SEALs are required to do to make it into BUD/S:
RIght up front: Never in a million years could I do what is required. However, I needed to start somewhere. Considering how fit the SEALs are, I figured it was a good place to start. So my SEAL puppy reps (SEALp) consist of girls' pushups, crunches, and flutter kicks, a SEAL training basic. I started with doing one of each.
PT ~ Physical therapy using 2-lb and 1-lb weights, alternating days.
UB ~ Upper body exercises
I'm starting low, at 10, to restart my workouts, with no weights yet.
16: 1-mile walk. PT. UB.
17: I don't know how far we walked. My sister and I wandered the botanical garden. We enjoyed lunch with a friend and accomplished the weekly grocery shopping. Unfortunately, I discovered my fridge didn't turn on like it should. I lost most of the frozen stuff. I'm looking at it as an opportunity to start over with healthier choices.
18: Rest.
19: 1-mile walk. PT. UB.
20: 1-mile walk. PT.
21: 1-mile walk. PT. UB.
22: 1-mile walk. PT.
Sorry to hear about your fridge failing! It's a pretty annoying thing to happen, but you've done well to see the positive in it.
ReplyDeleteIt's working fine again. I figure God fixed it. My only explanation. And I'm grateful.
