First, I love his name, his mother's maiden name. I know, not actually hero worthy, but fun.
He went to Harvard at 14. Graduated. Sailed to Europe and back again. Became a clergyman and then a lawyer. He was voted into the Continental Congress. He served there for a number of years and finally ended up a judge. He was another champion of our new nation. He did his duty because it was what he chose for himself.
Again and again, I read of these men who did what needs must.
