Carpe diem... revisions...

Revisions, revisions, revisions...

Laundry

Make my hot chocolate mix.

A bit of reading. I enjoyed Merry Christmas Babies by Tara Taylor Quinn, and Cowboy Daddy, Jingle-Bell Daddy by Linda Goodnight.

This is how I've been feeling the past week:

Done, and wrote a card to mail to "A Recovering American Soldier," tomorrow.

  2. Ok - so you weren't revising? You were doing laundry? Making hot chocolate? Teasing cats? *g*

  3. Laundry is done. Hot chocolate is made. And the feral cats fed, so they've nothing to complain about, but I really need to settle back into my sleep routine. It was disconcerting to see that face in the mirror when I woke up, today. LOL!

  4. Hi Judy
The picture of the kitten made me laugh out loud. I think it is because I recognised that facial expression. When my husband see’s this expression on my face he usually says “am I crunching out of tune”. To clarify, I have 4S syndrome which is "Selective Sound Sensitivity Syndrome”.
If you have never heard of this Judy, it is an intense and immediate emotional and physiological reaction upon hearing certain sounds. Noises associated with oral functions such as eating, breathing, chewing or other noises such as keys jingling or somebody rattling change in their pocket etc.
The look on your kittens face is a good likeness to the face I pull when someone crunches crisps or slurps their tea. It is not pleasant to live with but I have learnt to see the funny side :)

  5. Glad you laughed, Molly! I've never heard of 4S Syndrome by name, but I'm not surprised that it exists. I had a friend, years ago, who specialized in the ear canal. I complained to him that I have buzzing feedback in my ear when I sang in the church choir. He explained that my ear canal was either too short or too long. I asked what I had to do to make it stop: Stop singing in the choir. I'm not surprised that the problem can be much more severe. It's amazing how humor is able to see us through so many things.
